The Large Keen Targhee II Mid Wide size 7-13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 has a proven track record of being a great hiking boot for men. In addition to making these big hiking boots for men waterproof, Keen made it a point that they remain breathable too. The Bigfoots of this great planet are generally big guys, and we tend to run hot. This is why we benefit from breathable shoes. When it comes to keeping a foot dry in big men's hiking boots, attention needs to be paid to moisture management from the inside out, and the outside in. Best when combined with a pair of moisture-wicking socks, a dry foot is priceless. Keen, as it does with all its footwear, made these boots to last, and equipped these large hiking boots for men with their famous rubber toe cap. A lot of other manufacturers have tried to copy it, but keen sets itself apart by elongating the outsole and wrapping it over the toe. This keeps the seam between the waterproof leather upper and durable sole from separating. Every man who has big or wide feet has experienced this, but keen virtually eliminated the possibility of this happening with their innovative design.
