Production of this boot moved from Vietnam to China at some point in 2023.  The fit of these boots is now more than an inch shorter in length and ¼ inch narrower in width for any given size/width.  Until we have this corrected, we recommend you call for a recommendation to a similar boot.

The Carolina Men's 8" Waterproof 800G Insulated Composite Toe Grizzly Boot is just what Bigfoots in cold climates have been looking for. This is a EEE Extra Wide insulated work boot that is loaded with 800g of Thinsulate™. Especially in the frigid weather men love composite toe caps because they are both lightweight and don't conduct cold the way steel does. Needless to say, both steel and composite toe caps have the same impact rating. Another difference is that with steel if you drop an item heavy enough to exceed the impact rating you could get your toes severed when the steel bends, whereas with composite it would shatter and help to save your toes. These big men's insulated grizzly work boots are made in sizes 7-13, 14, and 15 in E, and EEE Extra Wide. They are built with a Triple-Rib Steel Shank. In the pursuit of warm dry feet, moisture management is key, and the waterproof SCUBA Liner, combined with the Taibrelle Lining help to make this possible. Carolina wanted a boot that would last, so they insisted on building this boot with Welt Construction. It's not too often a guy with big feet can get an insulated composite toe boot with great protection, and to get that same boot with 800 grams of Thinsulate™ is enough to make a Bigfoot's day.
