Georgia Insulated Work Boots size 7-13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19:

Have you ever been working outside and began thinking that it was so cold outside, that you were certain at least one toe was going to break off before you returned home? If you work outside and have to endure mother nature’s cold wrath, you need to be wearing these 9” Georgia Insulated Work Boots (style #8162).

Brown waterproof leather enriches the look of this men’s Georgia work boot. To keep your feet and toes 100% dry while you are outside battling the elements, these work boots were built with the Georgia Waterproof System. With this feature, you will never have to endure water seeping down into your boots.

As you well know, when your feet get cold inside of your boots, it feels as if your body temperature has dropped below zero and you just have ice running through your veins. These are the perfect boots to keep you warm outdoors. They are installed with 1000 Gram Thinsulate® Ultra Insulation. This type of insulation is remarkably lightweight, therefore it won’t add a ton of bulk to these boots.

An imperative feature of this Georgia work boot is the Artic Toe® technology. Georgia Boot has added the same insulation to the toe area but does not compress it. By doing this, your toes will maintain the same level of warmth as the remainder of your foot. With these features, it could be frigid outside, and your feet are going to be as cozy as they would be in front of a rustling fireplace.

An orthotic insert has been added to this #G8162 work boot, to make certain that your feet are comfortable.

Goodyear welt construction has been utilized to give these work boots greater durability and strength. A great aspect of this assembly is that it makes these boots exceptionally easy to repair.

The “Klaw” outsole is made of rubber, and offers immense heat, oil, and slip resistance.

Whether you wear them on the job site or sleigh riding with your family, these 9” Georgia boots are fully prepared to keep your feet dry and toasty.

Since all feet are unique, and all footwear fits differently, use our experience from fitting thousands of men with XL and or Wide feet over more than a decade. Our experienced fit experts routinely fit men better from thousands of miles away over a brief phone call, than reps in their local shoe store can do in person. As one of our seasoned fit experts righteously proclaims, “It’s not that I’m that good, it’s that everyone else in the industry is that bad”.

Call us at (651) 797-6000! Customers who order without speaking to us return their orders at more than 7 times the rate of those who call us for advice before ordering.

The best way to measure is on a brannock device which most shoe stores allow people to use for free.  The next best option which has a much lower success rate, is to measure you foot in inches and call us to convert the length measurement from inches to shoe sizes.  It's flawed to begin with as a full shoe shoe size is based on the length of a mustard seed!
Unfortunately, there is no universal measurement for width when it comes to how an item fits. Even within the same brand, a "4E Wide" for example, could vary in how wide actually feels significantly from one style to another. Variations in how wide a 4E is can vary even more from one brand to another. Width is just one of many factors that our experienced fit experts use to determine the best fit for our customers and when fitting a foot without considering all the factors.

  • AAA Narrow (Narrowest width on the market)
  • AA Narrow
  • A Narrow
  • B Narrow
  • C Narrow
  • D Medium (standard or regular width)
  • E Wide
  • EE Wide
  • EEE Wide
  • 4E wide
  • 5E Wide

6E Wide (widest reliable width on the market) Best option for more than 90% of our customers.

We intentionally do not offer a sizing chart. Since all footwear fits differently, sizing charts have proven to be very misleading and cause many more returns, hassle, and costs for our customers.
Fitting feet is different for every person.  How your foot fits a given shoe or boot is as unique as your fingerprints.  The riskiest part of fitting one’s feet based on a size chart is the wasted time, hassle, and worse, the shipping costs that result from receiving footwear that doesn’t fit.  For the best fit, please call us at (651) 797-6000.

We have the wisdom of fitting thousands of men both in person and over the phone, and we know the difference in fit from one brand to the next and one style to another.

Unfortunately, due to how many products are always being newly released and discontinued, if we did print a catalog, it’d be obsolete the day it was printed. Our website has the most up to date offering of our products, and if you’d like to know more, please call us at (651) 797-6000.

As of 18JUN2023, the widest fitting safety-toe boots we offer are the made by the Wide Load brand and those are the widest Composite Safety Toe Boots on Earth!  If you are curious as to why, please call us at (651) 797-6000. We’d love to save you the inconvenience of a return.

If all things were equal, and THEY MOST CERTAINLY ARE NOT, every 'E' of width is about the same as the width of a nickel.   If you are at all uncertain we can blindly tell you based on the thousands of returns and exchanges we’ve processed over more than a decade of serving men with XL and Wide Feet, more than 90% of the time wider is better.

It can VARY SIGNIFICANTLY (this is why we recommend calling) depending on the brand, but in general, many brands label their products this way.

E or 2E (EE) = Wide
3E (EEE) = Extra Wide
4E (EEEE) = X-Wide
5E–6E = XX-Wide or wider

Still not sure? Give us a call at (651) 797-6000 and we’ll help you get the right fit.
