We stock men's shoes and boots in 4E, 6E and 8E widths, in sizes up to 17 and beyond, on the shelf, ready to try on — and we've been fitting feet like yours in person for more than 17 years.

The width problem we solve

Most shoe stores treat wide feet as an edge case. Their "wide" selection is a handful of styles in a 2E, maybe a 4E in one or two models if you're lucky. If you wear a true 4E — or a 6E — you're used to settling: a size too long to get the width, shoes that pinch by noon, or another online order headed back in the mail.

Do you really stock 6E shoes in the store, or do you have to order them?
We stock them. Our 6E selection — shoes, boots, slippers, and socks — is on the shelf at our St. Paul store, ready to try on. It's the core of what we do, not a special order.

What sizes do you carry?
Men's sizes run up to 17, and some styles go beyond that, in widths from 4E all the way to 8E. Women's sizes run up to 13 in wide widths up to 4E. If you're after a specific size and width, call (651) 797-6000 and we'll check availability for you.

Do I need an appointment to get fitted?
No appointment needed. Walk in any time during store hours — Monday to Friday 11–5, Saturday 12–5 — and we'll measure your feet and fit you in person. Fittings are what we've done for more than 17 years.

Do you carry wide work boots with safety toes?
Yes. We stock wide work boots from Wide Load, Carolina, and Hoss in 4E and 6E widths, with steel, composite, and soft toes, including waterproof and insulated options. Bring your job's requirements and we'll match the boot to them.
